It's a sparkly kind of bright blue sky here in the OV. The kind of day day that makes me want to go out into the Hundred Acre Wood to sit with my friends Pooh and Piglet. It a just sitting kind of day, with perhaps some good friends and maybe a jar or two of honey to share. We could watch the clouds go by, drifting on the cool breeze, and of course a game of Poohsticks before I have to leave. It's that kind of a day here in the OV.But there are chores to be done, a lawn to rake and trash to go out, errands to run, and people to see on this first day of December. So I must be going now. .

I just checked the map. It looks like Norfolk is close to the North Carolina border.
ReplyDeleteTrue. NC Border is just 17 miles. But in our imagination we can be anywhere.
ReplyDeleteOh, those stuffed animals are delightful. Were they on display at your library?
ReplyDeleteIf we're going to select characters to act, I've got dibs on Eeyore.
ReplyDeleteKass, Those are the first stuffed toys based on A.A. Milne's characters, probably produced about 1927. I got the photo from:

Okay, Limes you can be Eeyore though I don't see you as the sourpuss he is.
I'm RARELY sour in any way. But I LOVE "Thanks for noticing me." That may go to your observation that I sometimes failed to get attention I needed. I may be a little over-grateful. PLUS, I like the idea of being a little donkey with bows on my tail. ; ~} Now I'm blushing. Whatever floats one's boat, right?I've still got dibs on Eeyore because I'm as stubborn as a mule which is a close relative to a donkey.
ReplyDeleteprobably rain anyway...
ReplyDeleteThanks for noticing, Weather Guesser. I don't want to get my tail bows wet.
ReplyDeleteOn-line I'm a combination of Owl and Tigger.
ReplyDeleteOff-line I'm a combination of Eeyore and Piglet.
Would that be a gerowl and an eelet?
ReplyDeleteOr an owlger and a pigore.
