Who you gonna call?

Current Moon Phase March 17th 2010; 10PM GMT 4% of full, waxing.

Somewhere in my head I find a dark place, where self hides. Peeking out I see collapse. Perhaps the beginning of the fall predicted so long ago by Nostradamus and and the Mayans?

Cycles within cycles. Coming out of the new moon into the Vernal Equinox, while approaching the Galactic alignment.. The end of the world as we know it? Fact or fiction? Of course I don't know but when I look out from my dark place I see the dark side. Is it coincidence that on the night of the new moon a couple days ago I checked out a book on the infamous Zodiac Killer. What is my occasional fascination with this dark side of human behavior, mine included. And why now in this particular place in the cycle? Dude, you're freakin' me out!

Dr. Peter Venkman: This city is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions.
Mayor: What do you mean, "biblical"?
Dr Ray Stantz: What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor, real wrath of God type stuff.
Dr. Peter Venkman: Exactly.
Dr Ray Stantz: Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling!
Dr. Egon Spengler: Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes...
Winston Zeddemore: The dead rising from the grave!
Dr. Peter Venkman: Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

Of course we went through this kind of talk eleven years ago at the turn of the century. The doomsayers prepared their bunkers in Idaho and Kentucky. Nothing happened. I don't expect anything now or in 2012. Earthquakes, famine, floods have been with us throughout history. We just didn't hear about it much here in our sheltered resource rich country. Today, alone, from the comfort of my special chair, I conversed with a efriend in Zambia via Uruguay, my friends out west and family members scattered across the country. Its much easier to get news from across the globe than in my youth last year.  If there is any disaster coming it will be one of our own making. putting thoughtless greed ahead of compassion and kindness. We don't have to live in the darkness of superstition. We can instead choose to look out from the loveNlight of Wisdom. Thanks Gabi.

  1. Dear Tag,

Once again you touched my heart with your kind words. Thank you for counting me as one of your friends – it is very much appreciated!

I agree with you, the disaster will be to put materialism over unconditional love – there is where the challenge really lays –
I have faith that we are going to choose loveNlight – after all we are not as bad as we think.

Yesterday I gave an important step in my life, for the first time I open up, I was able to talk about the past… I removed my armor and open my heart to the world. - Reading the comments put tears on my eyes, it touched me so much to know I have friends who care that much.

What a blessing to have someone to call upon!

    Thanks Tag.

  2. The kingdom is within. Consciousness is really all there is. My daughter was all upset today because she just found out her sign is incompatible with her new boyfriend's. I reminded her that I was "supposed" to be totally compatible with my late husband. Everything lined up, according to the stars. If we *%#^ed that up, think how powerful we are against what the stars ordained, so we are just as powerful to chart our own course and set our own sails into bliss.

  4. No Gabriela we are not as bad as we think but I'm glad you're carrying the the torch to light the way as we sail with friend Kass into bliss. Oh geez, that's corny. Kirk, I never did trust that Venkman guy.

  5. I read your post and something stirred in my head but I couldn't quite express it. A "theme", if you will. I've chewed on it for a couple of days, obviously. It is a realization, Tag, that you occupy high ground. Your small talks with god and your Cancer Angels relate to heaven which is typically regarded as being upward. You speak in this post of the galaxy and the moon - up there. You were, and remain, a cloud watcher - that's up. You see, Tag, I think of darkness as down. Almost everything about you that I can point to is up. I don't think you're so very dark. I think you are light and up by your very nature.

On a lighter note: I have read true crime books about serial killers for decades, which I don't usually trumpet from the mountaintops because it causes some people to look at one oddly. But I do. I'm a closet reader. I can't read the gory parts - they sicken and frighten me. But there is something about these stories that draws me. I'm fascinated that most of them walk around looking just like you or me when they are the craziest of the crazy, and where is the next one? That guy over there, the little squirrelly one? They manage to exist doing terrible things, usually for quite awhile before they're apprehended, because they blend in so well. By the way, Ex was fascinated by the Zodiac Killer. It was one of few books I ever saw him read from start to finish. He played around for years with those cryptic symbols, trying to figure something out. That's how his brain works.
