You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear; as young as your hope, as old as your despair. ~Douglas MacArthur

I am - ness Ken Wilber
Ususally when I read Ken Wilber my hair burns. I suspect his may also. But this is simple, like the jitterbug.
thank you so much for this. this is the clearest, most direct explanation i've ever heard of i am-ness. and so simple to be there, if we can just remember. i've never been able to read more than a few pages of wilber's stuff, and sometimes just a few paragraphs, without feeling like my brain was oozing out of my ears. the exception to that was "grace and grit", the story of his wife, treya's, illness and death. well, a lot more than that, too.
I haven't been able to bring myself to read Grace and Grit. Mostly because I know I will cry. I like it when someone like Ken Wilber is able to break down something I know but forget when caught up in illusion and make it easy to remember. Glad you like it.

yes, you will cry. not just because of the story, but also because of the stringent, naked honesty contained therein.
