Like I mentioned in the comment about your flash fiction story my wife is on one of her eBay selling blitzes but she is also selling stuff through the classified section at the hospital where I work.
We are selling a tent-like structure on it with screens where the walls should be and Wednesday night when I went into work a lady called me in a panic over it wanting to buy the things.
No problem, but when I started making arrangements to meet up with her she threw all sort of issues in the way. Finally arranged a meeting at 2:45pm today but I had to drive across town to do it.
Got there and waited and as I half expected she was 30 minutes late. While the screen house is in excellent condition, we have never used the thing, after looking inside the storage bag she told me she wasn't interested.
I was pissed and felt like a fool for working with her like I did.
this isn't on you Ron, its on the person who who couldn't get their act together. The fact you went out of your way to get done tells a lot about you and being a fool is not one of those stories, but there are probably others that are worse.
